ABOUT ME
So here's where we try to get acquainted in little more than 300 flat words on a screen.
I graduated from Norwich University of the Arts with a First in Animation and have since tried to include elements of creation in as much of my life as possible. I was always fascinated with faeries, dolls houses and all things tinier than life, and the only difference in "growing up" is that my tastes have become more twisted; eyeballs and rougher, grimier textures.
I worked for 7 months as a full time animator at OnTrack International making 2D computer animations and videos for company branding and promotion; by OnTrack internally and Green Custard, and internal training materials for bigger names such as HSBC. This was residential work, involving strict self management, discipline and self assessment while working on company equipment in a home setting.
I am now currently working full time in the Marketing Department of one of the leading UK owned Hot Tub companies; Blue Whale Spa, located in Nottingham. I fit in as much animation and design as possible, but the work that I do is much more sales marketing and social media orientated. Additionally supervising 2 students through a minimum 10-month internship at the company has given me new skills and strengths within the work place.
Out of the work place the creative drives of my life can takeover; I'm not ashamed to admit that I have made my own Marauders Map as the ones available for purchase online are not detailed or authentic enough for my tastes. If, for any reason you'd want to scout me out before approaching me in person, you could find out when the next production by the Ravenshead Theatre Group was on stage. Attend any show and you'll probably see my set design and art work, makeup skills and acting skills all in the space of a couple hours.
After having been shut inside working remotely over the pandemic I'm looking to get back out and into the creative world!
